Job Description

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care for a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to adults. The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to support various units as needed, including nursery and emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in an efficient and effective manner.
• Use specialized equipment such as Puritan Bennett 980 & 840 and LTV1200 ventilators.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Document all necessary information in the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2-3 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• NRP certification is required; experience with neonatal/pediatric populations preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• New York state license required at the time of application.
• EPIC documentation system experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
