3x12 hour shifts, Nights. Weekly guaranteed hours are 36.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Children's ER provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care, delivering comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems in pediatric patients.
• Provide individualized patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Ensure quality, compassionate patient/family interaction and care.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Demonstrate comfort with pediatric resuscitation and care of critically ill children.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Two years of experience in a Pediatric ER.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC.
