Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide specialized nursing care in the catheterization laboratory, performing various procedures including left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, stent placement, peripheral angiography, and device implantation. The nurse will work with advanced technology and ensure a safe and effective environment for patients undergoing these procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various catheterization laboratory procedures.
• Monitor patient status and provide necessary care pre, intra, and post-procedure.
• Administer moderate sedation as required.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of devices.
• Document patient information in Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS certification.
• Previous cath lab experience required.
• Experience in moderate sedation preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
