Schedule / Shift

Shifts are from 8 AM to 4 PM, with departure times varying around 6:30-7 AM based on daily assignments from a mobile unit.

Job Description

The Mobile Mammography Technologist will work primarily in a mobile mammography unit, providing screening mammograms while traveling to various sites. The role involves collaboration with hospitals for logistical support, including hotel accommodations when overnight stays are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammograms using Hologic Selenia dimensions equipment.
• Drive and operate the mobile mammography unit, "Bonnie's Bus," to various locations.
• Engage with patients to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures.
• Coordinate with hospital staff regarding coverage and scheduling.
• Utilize EPIC and FUJI Synapse PACS for documentation and patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mammography.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT(M)).
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT(R)).
