Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a night shift position at a leading hospital. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the emergency room, providing critical care to patients in urgent situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in the emergency setting.
• Perform assessments, interventions, and evaluations of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage and prioritize multiple patients with varying degrees of urgency.
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation in the electronic medical records system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the Emergency Room specialty.
• Active Ohio license or compact state license at the time of submission.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC certification is preferred.
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• One supervisory reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
