Job Description

It is essential for the LPN to provide restorative care for older patients recovering from hospitalization or acute illness. The role focuses on geriatric nursing, assisting patients in improving their health skills and functionality to transition safely to home or a lower level of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative patients, including those recovering from hip, knee, and shoulder surgeries.
• Manage patients with diagnoses requiring extra rehabilitation, such as pneumonia and congestive heart failure.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams across various departments, including nursing, respiratory therapy, and more.
• Conduct admissions and manage physician orders.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and unexpired West Virginia nursing license.
• BLS Certification.
• No false nails policy in the workplace.
