Registered Nurse - Clinical Specialty

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, and current methods and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient’s family members/significant others, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. The RN also directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

Schedule

This position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the area of clinical specialty is preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Multi State Compact RN License is required.
