Registered Nurse - High Acuity Trauma Surgical Floor

Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week. No block schedules available.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our high acuity trauma surgical floor. The patient population includes spinal neuro trauma surgical cases, gunshot victims, quadriplegics, and paraplegics. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a high acuity setting.
• Collaborate with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries.
• Ensure effective nurse handoff with the emergency department (ED) nurse and admitting unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty area required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Must have proficiency in EPIC documentation system.
