Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

A Med Surg Registered Nurse is needed to join our team. Candidates must be willing to float as needed, based on skill set and manager's discretion. The ideal nurse will demonstrate excellence in care for adult and geriatric patients within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NY State License
• Minimum of 2 years acute hospital nursing experience
• Previous travel experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLs preferred)
• Epic experience required
• Experience with various nursing activities such as colostomy care, phlebotomy, and IV management.
