Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Telemetry Nurse for our inpatient overflow unit accommodating mixed-level care, including medical-surgical and step-down patients. The unit consists of 20 beds and focuses on high patient turnover, with a typical length of stay of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry patients and manage care in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Assess and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Ensure thorough documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Telemetry competency.
• Progressive Care experience is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
