Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with shifts from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. No holidays or nights, occasional weekends.

Job Description

Join a newly established ambulatory orthopedic center as an RN in Diagnostic Imaging. Nurses will be responsible for the preparation of patients for CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine studies. Excellent critical thinking and IV skills are essential, along with experience in contrast administration being a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for imaging studies including CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine.
• Administer contrast as required for imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and respond effectively.
• Collaborate with radiology and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required.
• Excellent critical thinking abilities and IV skills.
• Telemetry experience is mandatory.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are preferred but not required.
• Experience with contrast imaging is desirable.
