Schedule

3-12 hour shifts per week, with every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Acute and Sub Acute Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide care to patients with chronic disease exacerbations and acute infections across varying acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide IV therapy, EKG interpretations, and respiratory treatments.
• Manage telemetry patients and interpret telemetry data.
• Handle patient care requests with attention to quality and patient safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a telemetry specialty.
• Current NY nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start.
• Experience with Epic documentation system from within the past 2 years is required.
• Charge nurse experience is required and candidates should expect to perform in this capacity regularly.
