Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A. Options for 36 and 48 hours per week, with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment primarily in the West 6 Med/Tele unit, which accommodates 40 beds. Nurses are required to demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including willingness to float to other units as necessary and work charge when needed. The position includes a commitment to work at least 1 holiday during the contract period.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in an acute medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, aiming to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.
• Participate in a flexible schedule, including possible block rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute med-surg/tele.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
