Schedule

Nights - 12 Hour Shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend shifts are required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in the Med/Tele Unit, which has 37 beds. Flexibility is necessary based on the facility's needs, and candidates may be required to float to other units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Manage patient medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health management.
• Assume charge nurse duties when assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute med-surg/tele required; 2 years preferred.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
