MedSurg RN Position - Day Shift

Schedule

4x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, including weekdays and weekends (3 per 4-week schedule).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MedSurg RN to join our dynamic 34-bed med/surg unit dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions. The nurse will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a med/surg setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Engage in daily huddles and patient rounding.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a MedSurg setting.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or valid compact license.
• Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
