Schedule

Day shift - 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 16:30), with weekend and holiday availability as needed. Flexibility required to stay until the last patient is cared for. Minimal call required.

Job Description

The Invasive Cardiology Nurse will join a specialized unit consisting of dedicated Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs, providing advanced cardiovascular treatments. The unit is known for handling over 6,000 procedures yearly, including complex coronary procedures and structural heart interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac interventions.
• Assist with a variety of procedures, including ASD closures, device insertions, and catheterizations.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery status, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement best practices in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant field.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Must be able to care for COVID patients and adhere to a tobacco and fragrance-free policy.
