Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights / Varied Schedule

Job Description

The RN provides age-specific, direct patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN assumes leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other levels of employees, while ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care based on individual patient needs and age-specific considerations.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to implement patient care.
• Assume leadership by delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications required prior to contract start date.
• New hires must book courses at the time of Clinical Orientation if certifications are not currently active.

This position requires a nights/varied schedule.
