4x12 Hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend and holiday requirement.

Job Description

The LPN will be responsible for providing patient care in a medical surgical environment. This includes taking own patient assignments with RN support, performing vital signs and pain assessments, monitoring intake and output, and executing medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient assignments and communicate status changes to RN/MD.
• Administer medications via various routes including oral, IM, SQ, and NG/G-tube.
• Conduct wound care basics and assist with Foley catheter insertions.
• Monitor telemetry and perform 12-lead EKGs.
• Utilize EPIC for charting patient information and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State LPN license required (no compact licenses accepted).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Skills in IV therapy, wound care, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration are essential.
