Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer - Allentown, PA

Schedule

This position requires a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with Thursday hours from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM. No weekend shifts or on-call duties are required.

Job Description

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer will perform ultrasound examinations, focusing on high-risk obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine specialties. Candidates must have experience with various sonographic procedures and be proficient in specific techniques related to fetal developmental assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed ultrasound examinations and assessments.
• Utilize various techniques such as amniocentesis, thoracentesis, and paracentesis.
• Measure and evaluate fetal growth and identify potential abnormalities.
• Collate and maintain accurate patient records and charts using Cerner and AS systems.
• Collaborate with medical teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with charting systems, preferably Cerner and AS.
