This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; occasional weekend coverage for inpatient/swing bed evaluations.

Job Description

The staff physical therapist is responsible for the evaluation, consultation, and treatment of patients, as well as supervising and instructing professional and supportive staff, volunteers, and students in their area of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that patients are progressed to their prior level of function or maximum medical improvement as per the Plan of Care.
• Perform assessments on each patient, including reassessments as per policy for pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general patient populations.
• Maintain accurate records relevant to patient care including progress reports, daily notes, and special reports.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Earned degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado Licensure.
