Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM with alternating shifts from 09:30 AM to 08:00 PM. Weekend call required along with nights on-call.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vascular and Cardiac Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least two years of experience in the operating room with a focus on vascular and cardiac procedures. The role involves assisting in surgeries and handling trauma patients, particularly in a Level 2 trauma center environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring smooth operation and patient safety.
• First-to-float between the Mainland and City Campus.
• Maintain aseptic technique and specimen handling procedures.
• Utilize Cerner charting for documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room.
• Experience in vascular and cardiac surgeries is required.
• Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT and BLS is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a Level 2 trauma center is preferred.
