Travel Med Surg Tele RN - Wilkes Barre, PA

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Med Surg RN with recent experience to provide care in a variety of settings, including general medical surgical administration, post-operative care, and telemetry monitoring. The position may require floating to Medical Surgical Telemetry units.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor patient care in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Cerner for patient documentation and tele monitoring.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during care transitions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience required.
• 1+ year of recent travel experience preferred.
• Telemetry experience is mandatory.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Cerner EMR experience is a must.
