Job Description

Under the direction of Registered Nurses, the Patient Care Assistant (PCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) completes portions of patient assessments, provides patient care, assesses units for safety, and maintains complete and accurate documentation. The role also involves leading and co-leading therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete portions of patient assessments under RN supervision.
• Provide direct patient care and support.
• Ensure unit safety and maintain accurate documentation.
• Lead and co-lead therapeutic activities for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in direct patient care.
• PCA/CNA certification must be listed on the resume.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification (Required).
• Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree with 2 years of experience in a human services field, or a High School Diploma with 5 years of experience in a related field.
