Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse

Position available at a facility in Mississippi.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the surgical unit. The position requires strong clinical skills in med-surg environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and record patient vital signs
• Assess and document patient conditions and progress
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members
• Provide education and support to patients and families

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license with a valid compact state license
• NIHSS certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience preferred
• Must have a permanent address 50 miles or more from the facility
