Shift: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM (40 hours per week)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patients' needs. The RN identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients.
• Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• 2 strong years of recent critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU experience required.
• Strong background in Telemetry; must be tele certified.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS - AHA, ACLS - AHA, PALS - AHA certifications required.
