Weekend night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, or Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.

Job Description

Join our team as a Neuro RN, providing care for patients in a 20-bed neurosciences unit. The unit specializes in diverse neurological disorders, including strokes, seizures, and post-operative care for spinal surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients with neurological conditions.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with G-tube management.
• Document patient care and verify telemetry strip readings in the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on neurological disorders and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• NIHSS certification must be current at the time of submission.
• Strong experience in neuro nursing, including familiarity with Deep Brain Stimulators and post-op care.
• Proficiency with the EPIC charting system.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
