Schedule

Monday to Friday, 4 ten-hour shifts (7 AM - 5:30 PM), with call requirements of 1-2 shifts per week plus every 3rd or 4th weekend.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will cover both vascular and neuro procedures in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced imaging technology and adhering to high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data.
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures.
• Prepare entry sites for procedures using sterile techniques.
• Continuously monitor patients' ECG and blood pressure, documenting relevant information.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency procedures.
• Initiate resuscitative measures when necessary.
• Document all procedures accurately and manage inventory control.
• Provide instruction to radiography students regarding patient positioning and technique selection.
• Engage in performance improvement activities within the department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT(R) certification.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Must possess a radiation badge provided by the agency.
