Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry Overflow unit. Ideal candidates will have experience with telemetry/acute care, particularly in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Cardiac Telemetry setting. Responsibilities will include managing vasoactive drips and providing care for stroke patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry for patients.
• Administer vasoactive medications as needed.
• Manage care for stroke patients and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide patient education and support throughout the recovery process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months telemetry or acute care experience; 2 years preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required at the time of submission.
• Must have PCU or Cardiac Tele experience.
• Experience with vasoactive drips and stroke patients is essential.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
