Schedule

Full-time nights. 3 (12-hour) night shifts per week, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Hours are from 6:00pm to 6:30am.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will plan and provide total patient care through the use of the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. This role includes directing and guiding patient teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and implement care plans.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and modify care accordingly.
• Direct and guide patient education activities.
• Supervise ancillary personnel in accordance with professional standards.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• BCLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Completion of required immunizations and health screening as outlined in employer's checklist.
