Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (36 or 48 hours available)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in active labor and couplet care settings. This role requires a commitment to teamwork and individualized patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor the health and progress of patients during labor
• Assist with procedures as necessary
• Collaboration with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery
• Mandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE
• Active Iowa nursing license
• MUST have Iowa SING background check to clear
• Current drug screening with 10-panel test including opiates
• Proof of titers (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) within the last 12 months
