Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. The RN will provide comprehensive care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, ensuring a high standard of practice within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in labor and delivery, providing care and support to mothers and newborns.
• Manage prenatal and postpartum care, including assessment and monitoring of mothers and infants.
• Perform necessary procedures such as non-stress tests and fetal monitoring.
• Handle complications such as hemorrhages and hypertensive crises with appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS certification within 60 days of start date.
• PALS certification within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to float to other departments as needed based on patient census.
