Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit and be proficient in circulating and scrubbing in the operating room. This role is essential in providing exceptional care to patients during childbirth and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Assist with various procedures, including cesarean sections, epidurals, and spinal anesthesia.
• Monitor and manage IV drips such as magnesium and provide care for high acuity patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWOHHN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certifications.
• Experience in a high-paced labor and delivery unit.
• Experience in scrub role and circulating in the OR is highly beneficial.
