Nights, 8 hours from 11 PM to 7 AM. Must be willing to float to various units based on experience.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents while monitoring their mental and physical well-being. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and ensure that nursing practices adhere to state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Observe residents continuously for changes in condition and communicate findings to the nursing supervisor.
- Transcribe and implement physician’s orders effectively.
- Administer medications and treatments while ensuring proper documentation.
- Supervise and guide LNA staff in resident care practices.
- Conduct resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as necessary.
- Monitor infection control practices and maintain cleanliness on the unit.
- Assist with wound care and administration of oxygen as per facility guidelines.
- Participate in staff education and assist with the orientation of new nursing employees.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 3+ years of current nursing experience within the last 6 months.
- Willingness to float to units where experienced.
- IV certified (must be obtained during onboarding if not already certified).
- Active New Hampshire nursing license required.
- COVID vaccination is mandatory; declinations not accepted.
- Previous travel and rural/small facility experience is highly preferred.
