Schedule

Day shift: 7am - 7pm, three 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at our general Med/Surg unit, where you will coordinate exceptional patient care for both adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise will be crucial in providing comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, and swing bed care. You will collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population while utilizing the innovative Nursing Process for critical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic care that addresses patients’ physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs with compassion.
• Accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to make critical decisions in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least three years of acute care experience, preference for candidates familiar with Meditech.
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required prior to start.
