Med/Surg RN Position - Night Shift

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg RN with a minimum of 1 year of inpatient experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the care of patients in a telemetry-monitored, med/surg setting. You will work alongside a dedicated team and encounter various patient populations, mainly adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment and care for a 6:1 patient ratio during night shifts.
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias, ensuring appropriate treatment.
• Perform peripheral line care and management, including nasal cannula administration.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and others as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient med/surg experience.
• Experience with Epic EMR is required.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Current BLS certification.
