Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care consistent with Maine State Standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform excellent assessment and communication with patients and families.
• Maintain accurate computer documentation skills.
• Function independently and act rapidly in emergency situations.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality adhering to organizational mission, vision, and values.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong assessment and documentation skills required.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Experience in emergency care preferred.
