Surgical Processing Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Evening shift from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with rotation to weekend call every 6-8 weeks from 3 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The Surgical Processing Technician will be responsible for the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring proper protocols are followed for instrument processing to maintain patient safety and care standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize orthopedic trays and surgical instruments.
• Operate standard SPD equipment, including sterilizers.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Participate in rotating weekend call schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• CRCST certification preferred.
• Experience with Davinci and Mako robots is a plus.
