Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. On-call required. Weekend shifts included.

Job Description

The Shock Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) is seeking a dedicated RN with trauma ICU experience. The unit consists of 10 beds with a patient ratio of either 1:2 or 1:1, ensuring high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of skilled professionals to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient assessments.
• Create and revise plan of care based on assessments.
• Document outcomes and patient responses accurately.
• Administer medications and implement physician orders correctly.
• Escalate patient issues efficiently to the appropriate team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Preferred: TNCC or CATN certification.
• Trauma ICU experience is a must; Surgical ICU experience is preferred.
