12-hour night shifts with block scheduling.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU RN to join our team. The ICU unit specializes in critical care and is well-equipped to handle a variety of complex patient conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICU nursing and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients.'
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and manage IV drips.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Respond to emergencies, including rapid response and code blue situations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all nursing interventions.
• Assist in various procedures such as intubation, extubation, and central line management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start.
• Experience with EPIC documentation system within the past 2 years is required.
• Preferred certifications: CCRN, AHA PALS.
