Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our acute care OT department, providing vital therapy for patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses including ICU patients, stroke/neurological cases, orthopedics, and general debility. The Occupational Therapist will support patient care based on physician orders throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Collaborate with the medical team to support patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License.
• Familiarity with One Chart - Cerner is preferred.
