06:00 AM - 03:00 PM, 8-hour shifts. On call/call back required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Scrub Tech to join our operating room team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile environment, ensuring the availability and functionality of necessary instruments and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room by setting up instruments and sterile supplies.
• Assist surgeons during procedures, ensuring instruments are readily available.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Pass surgical instruments to the surgeon and other team members as necessary.
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and assist with restocking supplies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid license or certification required for Scrub Tech.
• Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
• Successfully pass a 10-panel drug screening and other health checks.
• Current certifications including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, and TB test.
• Criminal background check clearance and agency attestation.
