Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist produces diagnostic CT scans, assisting the radiologist in procedures while ensuring patient care. Under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, you will coordinate the daily workflow and assist in the throughput of ER, in-patients, and outpatients, maintaining quality standards as specified in departmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic CT scans and assist radiologists as necessary.
• Maintain current certifications and mandatory in-services.
• Make technical decisions regarding best practices for CT scans.
• Administer IV contrast materials under the radiologist's direction.
• Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with age-specific competency standards.
• Coordinate with the CT department for daily operations and future planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in CT imaging.
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• BLS certification within 60 days upon hire.
