Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients with various medical conditions, including hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and other general medical/surgical issues. The nurse may also care for COVID patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting.
• Monitor and manage telemetry and dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and manage IV protocols.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in patient and family education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Epic electronic charting experience is preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
