Job Description

This position involves working in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Step-down Unit (SDU), providing care to critically ill patients from adolescence to geriatrics. The role encompasses a wide variety of patient diagnoses, including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical cases, while maintaining the standards of professional nursing. Additionally, this position requires supervision of CNA/SNA, LPN, or other healthcare workers as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver care to critically ill patients.
• Care for diverse patient diagnoses across various specialties.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and practices.
• Supervise team members including CNAs and LPNs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience - Required
• Travel experience - Preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active Michigan nursing license; verification required through LARA and Nursys
