Job Description

An ICU RN is needed for night shifts. The position requires strong critical care experience and skills, with first-time travelers accepted. The average daily census is 8 patients in a 10-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:2, up to 1:3 with low acuity (rare).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as prescribed
• Assist with procedures and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current RN license in Maryland or Compact License
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Charge experience preferred
