Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00), requiring every other weekend availability.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Trauma Cardiovascular Stroke and Neuro Critical Care Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly in surgical intensive care units, and will be proficient in using the Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Trauma Cardiovascular Stroke and Neuro unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Utilize advanced technical skills such as CVP monitoring, arterial and central line management, and EKG interpretation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimum patient care and recovery.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience; 3 years preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred.
