CVICU Registered Nurse Position

Schedule

The position requires a rotating schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, with options for night shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM) and day shifts (7 AM - 7:30 PM).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse who will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining a collaborative and patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and provide critical care support in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform thorough assessments and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST have 18 months of permanent experience in CVICU prior to travel assignments.
• MUST have an active Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand.
• American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
