Job Description

The Travel Med Surg RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. This role will require floating between two med-surg units, encompassing various patient needs including orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as necessary
• Administer medications and perform treatments according to protocols
• Assist with medical procedures and educate patients on post-operative care
• Ensure patient safety and facilitate discharge planning
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active nursing license in the state of practice
