Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients. The RN will work closely within a team to deliver individualized treatment and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and rehabilitation exercises.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of acute care experience.
• Active RN license in Iowa.
• BLS certification required.
• MUST have Iowa background check clearance.
• Mandatory reporter certifications for child and adult care required.
• 10-panel drug test, including opiates, must be completed.
• Recent titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB within the last 12 months.
