4x12.0 schedule, 48 hours per week (7 PM - 7 AM) or 40 hours per week (9 PM - 7 AM). Blocked weeknights, no weekends, and no call.

Job Description

This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required. This position offers an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging, specializing in caring for patients undergoing CT scans, MRI scans, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. Responsibilities

• Provide pre/post and 23-hour care for IR patients.
• Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post-procedure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years' Registered Nurse experience.
• 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience.
• Telemetry experience required.
• New York RN license required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only).
